'Fahrenheit 9/11' Scene - 'Good for Business, Bad for the People' Video
"Well let me tell you about Halliburton, the company I ran. I'm very proud of what I did at Halliburton and the people of Halliburton are very proud of what they've accomplished. And, uh, I, frankly, uh, don't feel any need to apologize for the way I've spent my time over the last five years as the CEO and chairman of a major American corporation." -- Vice President Dick Cheney in 'Fahrenheit 9/11'

What is happening ...
What is happening in the US today is simply the product of our culture being spoiled and too used to good times. We, as a people, are so busy with all of our toys and entertainment that we don't pay attention to politics and what's happening. Most people believe what the television tells them to believe and they don't make the effort to stay informed. Plato said it best..."The penalty good men pay for ignorance of public affairs? is to be ruled by evil men."

@TankerUSA War is typically the most profitable in the form of "notes" to banks. If the bilderberg "club" had good intentions for other countries, they would supply the third world countries with weaponry and skilled training. Oh, I guess they don't care!?

@Dane42o
Sorry Dane42o, I didn't mean to belittle you personally, but rather add to what you were implying in your post.
As for your question, war is about profits, be it in the form of land, money, population gain or what ever the motive it may be.
It's never about being righteous, or helping the oppressed, if it were, we would? be in places such as Dafur, and many other third world banana republics.
